Scholarship Requirement Explained: Juggling side hustles with the demanding clinical phase has become a noose around my neck, dividing the focus my future patients deserve. Since losing my father eleven years ago, I have scraped by on community help and my mother’s meagre income (which is now drained by my brother’s epilepsy treatment). Currently, I am stranded and squatting with friends while struggling to afford textbooks and transport between hospitals. This scholarship is the vital intervention I need to drop these distractions and commit myself fully to my medical training.
