Scholarship Requirement Explained: My name is Eni Kufre Nnamso from Itu Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State. I am the first son in a family of five, raised by uneducated parents, my father an okada rider and my mother a roadside trader. Growing up was difficult, and I had to work to fund my JAMB before gaining admission into Akwa Ibom State University in 2018. Disability Explained: In late 2019, I received a devastating diagnosis: glaucoma. Despite exhausting financial resources on medication, courtesy of generous benefactors, I unfortunately succumbed to blindness in 2020. As an engineering student, this life-altering event forced me to defer my admission (at year 3), holding onto the hope that medical advancements would offer a cure. However, the road to recovery proved arduous, necessitating rehabilitation and a daunting array of challenges.
